Do I need credentials?

Only if you want Canary to test pages behind authentication.

Does Canary replace Playwright?

Canary can generate and execute Playwright-style user journeys, but it’s designed to be higher-level and workflow-driven (crawl → run → issues).

Is the docs site private?

The docs site is public by default, with optional logged-in enhancements via /docs/connect.
